keeping head above water

m is a true water baby, no really he and i have been going to waterbaby classes since he was 3 months old. some may say that's a really young age to begin water classes, but it's the age that our fitness center allowed, and my pediatrician at the time said it was ok, so long we watched his water intake. three months turned into thirteen months, and now m is three years old and has got the swimming thing down. in the past week, m has been swimming on his own with no vest or arm floaties. he's doing jumps off the edge and putting his head underwater and swimming. obviously, he's following into his ironman of a dad's footsteps, um, swim-steps, i mean.
